My Review of Fourth Wing
Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing is an absolute thrill ride, blending high-stakes action, romance, and a richly built fantasy world. Her writing is immersive, making the brutal yet exhilarating world of Basgiath War College come alive. The tension, character development, and plot twists keep the pages turning at an addictive pace.
That said, while Violet’s perspective is compelling and deeply personal, I found myself wishing for additional viewpoints from other key characters. Seeing the story unfold through Xaden’s and Dain’s eyes would have added even more depth—especially to the rivalry for Violet’s affection. Understanding their motivations and inner conflicts firsthand could have made their dynamic even richer. Still, Fourth Wing is an unforgettable read, and I can’t wait for the next installment!
